Grand café and restaurant on the corner of Leidseplein, open every day from 09:00: breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, inside or on the terrace. After years of development, our legendary café has returned brighter than ever, welcoming everyone in a relaxed setting. Well known since the late 1950s for the beer glass-shaped billboard on the roof of the old building, the Heineken Hoek is back as one of the city centre’s most beloved cafés.

Sit down on our terrace overlooking the lively Leidseplein, or inside by the long bar. The perfect place for a drink and a bite with friends before starting your day or night in Amsterdam.

Our Grand Café is open seven days a week for a bite, lunch, drink or dinner. Our menu is filled with good quality meats and fish and focussed on quality comfort food. We offer a diverse drinks menu that caters to various preferences. Think about cocktails, different draft or bottled beers and good quality wines. Enjoy your meal while watching your favorite soccer game, or go dancing into the wee hours. On Friday and Saturday a DJ plays great records from 21:00 until late.

With its new design, inside and out, it has made a brand-new return. The grand café combines a modern look with an authentic atmosphere that makes this location so popular.
